We proceed onward through the 3rd floor.
Follow up:
Notes on the feeding and care of fiendish wolves.
The next room has a fountain of everfresh water.
A roper in the room beyond. We kill it. The rest of the rooms beyond seem untouched. No stairs.
Dinner Order - Mayflower -496-3083
C24, V3,#2, C8 chxn white rice, C8 pork fried rice, C25
We decide to go back and mess with the stone golem. It activates the moment we get close.
I lead off with a 60 HP sand blast at it. Psycho charges in snarling. Hack moves in and blasts it. We kill it with minimal permanent damage.
We go back to the 2nd floor and find a secret door behind the curtain. We also free the Eryns and snag the curtain for loot. We fire up the magic curtain and see the Eryns, not deformed, and a elder mage with only one eye. He is violetly torturing her on the bed. (Will save 10 or be sickened). Later scenes involve something with dire wolves. Later scene - she is transformed to a brute, this time she is torturing him. The last scene: He is recording holding a large golden symbol to weijass. He brings a flask of some liquid. He pours the liquid on the holy symbol, which begins to smoke, as if touched by acid. He appears horrified. He drops to his knees, then runs offscreen. The holy symbol melts off to nothingness. I recall that Weijass is so lawful that her holy symbol is indestructable on her home plane. Clearly this is an issue, but we don't know why.
The Fourth Floor
In the first room, a large statue of an Eryns, 4 metallic poles with lightning arcing from pole to pole. It's a trap, lightning will arc to anyone within 5 feet.
The room to the north: There be treasure here. To be determined next week.
Moving to the eastern glilded door:
On the desk: There are 6 pillars, seem to be attuned to lifeform; glow brighter as they approach; clearly a defensive mechanism.
There is a pile of papers and books ; the book most recently opened appears to be penned by wiejass; the drawn in holy symbols have been burned, as if by a poker, etc. It appears he was testing. Maginifying glasses, letter openers, etc. (we grab that). Book is priceless to worshippers of weijass (3000 gp value). We find some talking keys. There is more to be found in this desk.
