The party continues its exploration of the tower. In the southern room we find an ooze factory with one very overgrown gray ooze. We make short work of it thanks to Psycho's... eagerness. Gray oozes disolve metal and organic materials. Mental note - immune to fire and cold. It appears that someone was trying to grow oozes here.

The last room is heavily glyphed with a destruction spell trap. Behind is a bedroom/torture chamber. Inside is a trapped Eryns, various instruments of torture, a bed, a brazier of silvery liquid, and a black curtain (gate out, we think)
There is a magic mouth which informs the Mefit (Corbin) to clean up this mess and dispose of the body of the Eryns - she does not have the stamina. It turns out she is just playing dead - she begs us to release her, offers sex, servitude... she tells us the curtain is to play back the scenes of debuachery. We leave her behind.
There appears to be an area that we did not explore, possibly behind the curtain in the bedroom. We will come back later if need be.
We head upstairs after discovering an acid arrow trap in the foyer to the 3rd floor. The room above appears to be covered in webs. There is a large vile dead spider here. It was bludgened to death. We press on and discover a several living spiders of the same type. We kill a few, and know there is at least one more beyond the closed door (we close up shop).
I note the that tower looks to be 4 stories (we are on the third). Monsterous spiders, dire wolves, a dire bear, a millipede, a prime material human (subject to some corruption), wasps, are noted in some papers we find - describing the research in this level. Terminated and sold to a cleric of weijas for 200g.
We find details about the construction of a stone golem hidden in the pages, unless accompanied by Tavernis (the mage of the tower). I recall that stone golems; generally large, 14 HD, move at 20, 26 AC,DR10/adamantine, 2 slam attacks with massive fists, reach of 10 feet, constructs, thus immune to all mind effecting; not subject to crits, any effect requiring a fort save. Immune to any spell/ability that allows SR. Can use slow as a free action 1/2 rds.
We rest here for the night; during the night there are some significant shudders and the building (the plane is dissolving).
